Modern space with exhibits on marine trade and marine life, such as maps, ancient boats and artifacts. The Sharjah Maritime Museum was first opened in the Heritage Area in 2003. The museum was relocated to its new headquarters in the Al Khan area and reopened on July 7, 2009.
